Clothing Tips

Here are some things to keep in mind when you are choosing your outfits. Try to express your personality, casual, sporty,

or dressy. Remember to have a good balance between what you like and what your parents like.

m Solid colors are best, keep prints and strips to a minimum.

m Solid colors can work well in mane ways.

          1) Solid black colors can be more slenderizing.

          2) Solid work best with your home's decor.

          3) Solid bright tones are good to accent your features.

         4) Solids go with more backgrounds.

m Be ware of want you are bringing. You don't want all sleeveless shirts, because they can overpower and take away

       from your face.

m Be ware of clothes that are to skimpy, such as short shirts and tops that show you tummy. They will limit the posing

options. If you do choose them, make sure that you are comfortable with that look.

m Please bring the proper undergarment for each outfit. If you need a strapless bra, bring one. Flesh colored is always

best, but if you are wearing a whit top, where white. I always ask that you try one all the outfits that you plan to wear

and make sure that everything looks good and that you are happy. Remember to carefully select these pieces so they

         do not give unsightly lines.

m Remember to bring a mixture of colors to choose from. Avoid a lot of T-shirts with large or bright logos on them.

Your natural earth tone colors are very complimentary and will coordinate well with any decor.

m Remember that in full photos that your feet will show and you need to make sure that you bring the appropriate

         footwear for each outfit.

Hair Tips

We ask that you experiment weeks ahead of time with how you would like your hair. Remember to avoid a fresh haircut,

style, coloring, or perm right before your session. If you plan to wear more than one hairstyle make sure that you can change

quickly (about 10 minutes). If your hairstyles change is one that lakes a lot longer than just the 10 min. you should consider

having a split session. Always remember to bring your own hair products.

Make-up

It is a really good idea to play around with your make-up before your session. Have your mom or a friend do your

make-up and play around with what looks best on you. If you usually don't wear make-up, you really should for pictures,

try to wear natural tones so it doesn't stand out. For you all that do wear make-up, that' great, but you will need to

remember not to wear heavy eyeliner around the eyes which tends to make your eyes to look smallerin pictures.

Remember to apply blush on your cheeks and lip color to your lip, it is very complimentary in pictures. Bring all your

make-up to your session so you will be able to reapply as needed.

Tanning Tips

When you are outside in the sun or using a tanning bed before your session, there are a few things you should think about.

     m Tan lines!

     m Peeling noses!

     m Sunburns!

m If you do have tan lines, make sure the outfits that you choose covers them up!

Just remember that it cost to remove tan lines and it is really hard to repair sunburns or peeling skin. If you want to

look tanner than wear clothes that are lighter in color.

Nails

You will want to avoid those bright neon colors. Natural or your basic colors are best, because they will go with more

of your outfits. You will be able to see both your finger and toes in the pictures. It is also important to make sure that

none of them are chipped or broken, because they will be noticeable.

Glasses

If you wear glasses most of the time, you will want to wear them for pictures. There is a way that you can eliminate glass

glare and save money on having the glare removed later. Just call your optometrist and ask them to borrow a pair of

empty frames or have your lenses removed. Most of them do this for free.
